Lee Miller, Architect, AAA RAIC
Principal
Lee grew up in Saskatchewan but did not let the flatness deter him from becoming an avid snowboarder. He worked many a sketchy construction job, and after completing a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Saskatchewan, he moved to Halifax, NS to complete a Bachelor of Environmental Studies and a Master of Architecture from Dalhousie University.
He worked for six years as an intern architect at S2 Architecture, and 14 years as an Associate at Sahuri + Partners before co-founding MILE Architecture.
Lee is an avid golfer. He has recorded a single hole in one (so far).
Jason Lenders
Principal
Jason was born and raised in Calgary, and always had an interest in construction from an early age of building Lego structures. In high school he was introduced to drafting, found his calling, and with T-square and mechanical pencil in hand never looked back.
Completing his diploma of architectural technology at SAIT polytechnic, he started his career as an architectural technologist at Stantec architecture in Calgary working there for two years. He then moved to S2 architecture and stayed for 15 years becoming the manager of production and technical services as well and an associate principal. He then founded a successful contracting firm Elevate Construction Documents providing his expertise for 5 years to a wide range of architectural firm before co-founding MILE Architecture.
Jason loves camping and the outdoors and spends many weekends out in the wild. But in a trailer, at a campsite, he isn’t that hardcore.
